SPORTS BUSINESS RADIO MOVES TO NATIONALLY SYNDICATED SPORTS BYLINE USA RADIO NETWORK

Portland, OR – After only 9 months on the air, Sports Business Radio is moving to national syndication. Sports Business Radio with Brian Berger and Keith Forman is the only radio show in the United States that is completely devoted to covering the business side of sports. “We are very excited to be taking the next step with this unique show,” said Forman. “We’ve proven there is an audience for a radio show dedicated to covering the business side of sports and we look forward to working with Sports Byline USA and Sirius Satellite Radio to reach more listeners. We thank KXL for giving us a launching pad for our show.”

“We’ve talked to some of the biggest names in the sports business world over the last 9 months and these guests have provided a candid insight that is rarely offered,” said Berger. “We’ve also covered the numerous stories happening off the field of play every day. From breaking down the BCS, to covering the NFL’s new TV deal, to analyzing FCC regulations to sorting out the BALCO scandal, we are on top of the breaking sports business stories making major headlines every week.”

In addition to interviews with high profile guests, Sports Business Radio includes unique segments ranging from “Caught in the Crosslights” (a segment that examines a sports team, executive or athlete in crisis with tips on how to handle the crisis) to “Technology Lab” (a segment that profiles the latest sports video games, novelties and gadgets).

Berger and Forman are no strangers to the world of sports business or radio. Berger has operated his own sports and entertainment public relations firm since 1998 after working for the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers for six years. Forman has served as a consultant to numerous special event productions ranging from Pro Beach Volleyball to World Cup soccer.

Berger and Forman served as the radio voices for Loyola Marymount University’s men’s basketball team in Los Angeles for several years, including 1990, when the team advanced to the Great Eight of the NCAA Tournament following the tragic death of All-American Hank Gathers.
